About Cantor Sagan

A teacher and a connector

"My calling is to deepen the spiritual experience of those around me — whether through my voice, my teaching, or my presence as a trusted guide."

Cantor Jenna Sagan is a certified hazzan through the Cantors Assembly. She studied education at Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion and holds a degree in theater from UCLA. Her background in music, performance, and Jewish learning informs a contemporary approach to prayer that remains grounded in tradition.

As Senior Cantor and Kol Bo at Congregation B’nai Tzedek, Jenna leads worship and education for all ages. She focuses on lifecycle events including B’nai Mitzvah, weddings, conversions, and funerals, where music and spirituality come together in a meaningful way. She is also an active member of the Greater Huntington Beach Interfaith Council, representing Jewish voices in regional dialogue and understanding.
